Most Discord accounts on Samzal sell for their age, their badges or their username. Accounts created in 2015 and 2016 are scarce, and some badges can no longer be earned at all, such as Early Supporter (given to Nitro subscribers before October 2018) and Early Verified Bot Developer. Short usernames claimed during the 2023 username change are another reason people buy.
You pay into Samzal escrow, the seller hands over the login, and the money is released only after you have secured the account.
Checking an account before you pay
- Creation date: every Discord user ID contains a timestamp. Turn on Developer Mode, copy the ID and paste it into a snowflake converter to see the exact date.
- Badges: ask the seller to show the profile on a live screen share, not a screenshot.
- History: ask whether the account was ever disabled, flagged for spam or had a phone number removed.
- Nitro: if Nitro is included, check how long it has left and whether it is gift Nitro or billed to the seller's card.
- Servers: owned servers do not come with the account unless agreed. Server ownership is moved separately in server settings.
How the handover works
After you pay into escrow, the seller sends the email and password through the secure login card in the deal chat. Log in, then change the email, the password and the two-factor authentication straight away, and add your own phone number. Changing the password signs out other sessions. Confirm the deal only when the account is fully under your control.
Discord's terms do not allow accounts to be sold, so Discord can disable an account it links to a sale. Buy from sellers with a history on Samzal and keep the account's activity normal after the handover.
What affects the price
The oldest accounts with rare badges sell for the most. A 2015 account with an Early Supporter badge costs far more than a 2019 account with no badges. Short or dictionary-word usernames add value on their own, and our OG usernames category lists names sold separately.
Selling a Discord account
List the creation date, badges, username and any Nitro time. Show the profile in the listing images. Listing is free, and you are paid from escrow after the buyer confirms.
Common questions
How do I check how old a Discord account is?
Copy the user ID with Developer Mode turned on and paste it into a Discord snowflake converter. It shows the exact creation date.
Is it safe to buy an aged Discord account?
It is safer through escrow, because you only release the money after you have changed the email, password and 2FA. Discord can still disable sold accounts, which is a risk on any marketplace.
Which Discord badges can no longer be earned?
Early Supporter and Early Verified Bot Developer are no longer given out, which is why accounts with them are expensive.
Can I sell a Discord account with Nitro?
Yes, but say how long the Nitro has left. Nitro billed to the seller's payment method usually stops after the handover.
What if the seller recovers the account?
Do not confirm until the email, password and 2FA are yours. If the seller takes it back before you confirm, open a dispute and the money stays in escrow.
